- HDToolbox will *not* work correctly with the Xetec controller.
- Xetec is one of the older controllers out there and while it
- uses RDB the format is slightly off from the current
- standard.
-
- Anyhow, with that out of the way, I have no problems
- using the Zip with my Xetec controller in an A2000. I use
- SCSI tools to prep the drive, selecting one of the
- embedded controller options as drive type (never seems
- to matter which one). Then, I format with the Partitions
- program. No problems. Xetec's watchdog program allows zip
- disks to be swappe w/o problem.
-
- I've even got PC Zips to read correctly and the
- electronic eject to work. Now, if I could only format
- the ZipTools Zipdisk, all would be right with the world :-)
